Products offered by Dream Hammock LLC are individually handcrafted, one of a kind creations and not factory manufactured. Designs may have subtle variations from one piece to the next due to materials and handcrafting. Therefore each piece has its own desirable uniqueness. Unless otherwise specified, all products are manufactured in Fredericksburg, OH using domestic and foreign materials.

Product Weights
Although comparing past product weights and the weights of similar items is generally used to predict what a custom product’s final weight might be, there is no way to guarantee the final weight of a product. Any product weights given by Dream Hammock LLC are to be used as a rough idea only. These weights are not to be considered part of your agreement to purchase a product from Dream Hammock LLC.

Weight Ratings
If a “weight rating”, “breaking strength” or “safe working load” of a particular material or component is known by Dream Hammock LLC, we will make every effort to clearly indicate it within this web site. Any published weight ratings are to be used for information purposes only. It is solely your responsibility to judge the suitability of products offered by Dream Hammock LLC.

Product dimensions given are in inches, weights are express in ounces and/or grams and are approximate due to the nature of the processes we use. Please note that we may alter specifications of our products from time to time. Any changes will be indicated on this website. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. No two pieces may be the same. While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, no liability is accepted for any perceived variations between website depiction and actual product.

Prices are correct at the time of publishing. It may be necessary to change prices from time to time. Any price changes will not affect orders already placed to Dream Hammock LLC.

Products can be ordered from us using our online store. Please go to the online shopping section of the website, and follow the on screen instructions to add items to your order. The order becomes binding when accepted by us. Payment is due when your order is placed. Acknowledgement of orders will be sent by email.

Suitability of Design
Dream Hammock LLC does not have the ability to test every new idea, concept and/or material. When fulfilling a request for new custom products or unique customization of an existing product, any person who purchases from Dream Hammock LLC, acknowledges that their design or material may not have been tested and may not be suitable for the customers intended purpose. Sometimes even great designs/materials “just don’t work”.

Delivery
We build most products in weekly batches and ship at the end of each day. Orders for small items and accessories are normally built and shipped within a couple days. We primarily use USPS Priority Mail, USPS First Class, and UPS Ground depending on the package size and weight, and customer's selection in the checkout. All hammocks and more expensive orders will be shipped Signature Required. All of our products are made individually so lead times can vary. Current lead times are posted on our home page and order page. We will normally ship products within these lead times, however as all products are handmade this may be extended at our discretion. Please order well in advance if you require delivery for a specific date, trip or event. All items in a single order will be shipped at the same time whenever possible, as such the item with the longest lead time will dictate the delivery date of all items.

Returns
Should you have a question or concern about a product we provide, please contact us as soon as possible. If a mistake has been made with an order, at our discretion we will repair or replace the product at no additional expense to the customer. We accept no liability for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered, for any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect to goods delivered caused by any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all products received carefully, and report any problems as soon as possible.

• Custom Hammocks – We do not offer returns on custom built products.
• Ready-to-Ship Hammocks & Accessories – We will accept returns on these products in new, unused condition only. Any product used beyond a brief initial test will be considered used and not eligible for return consideration. Please contact us before shipping any product back to Dream Hammock for instructions. Shipping costs for returned items are the responsibility of the buyer. Upon receipt of a returned product, we will inspect the item for any damage or wear. As long as it’s in new unused condition, we will issue you a refund for your original purchase price less a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping cost.
• Products not manufactured by Dream Hammock – We do not offer returns on products not built by Dream Hammock. There may be other options offered by the original manufacturer. Please contact us for details on these items.

 

Warranty
Dream Hammock LLC warrants all our products to be free of omissions, mistakes, and workmanship defects upon delivery to you. Please double check your order to make sure everything is correct before using your hammock. After this inspection, you are expected to test the hammock within 3 months of delivery to confirm that the hammock is free of any defects. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from UV exposure, abuse, age, accidents, improper care, or modifications made to our products. We are not able to cover fabric failure after an initial period of use. Fabrics may fail due to aging, damage, improper hang angle, etc.

Fabric Disclaimer
1.0oz MONOLITE and 1.2oz MTN XL are ultralight fabrics. Even though they offer good strength for their weight, these fabrics will not offer the same durability and long lasting service that the heavier fabrics will provide. Even if you fit within the comfort rating of a particular fabric, it may not be the right fabric for you. If in doubt, go heavier on the fabric and enjoy the added support and durability. We stand behind our workmanship 100%, but because of the limited durability of ultralight fabrics in general, we cannot provide any sort of warranty coverage for failure of these lighter weight fabrics. Please use these ultralight fabrics at your own risk.
