I am Gary David Antley sometimes called PossumBuck.  As a kid I camped on the ground using a blanket and a plastic trash bag for a rain fly.  I drug around an old cold handle skillet to cook everything in.  As I grew older life took over.  I gave up camping for about 30 years.  After a divorce I needed to change my life.  I wanted to camp but was over weight and sleeping on the ground was too uncomfortable.  Started watching a guy named "Frozen" on YouTube.  He was using a Darien hammock.  I looked them up.  They were build heavy duty enough for my weight!  I was given a cheaper hammock that prove to be a nightmare.  The Darien's price indicated this was not your average cheap hammock but was still reasonable.  I recon it worked out good.  I now own 5 Darien's.  I have found I can sleep anyway I want....  on my back, feet high, head high, on my side, and i even woke up on my belly a few times.  In the 4 years since I bought the first Darien, I have managed to camp out at least once a month since March 2020 on average.  Summer here in Texas makes July thru August a challenge due to heat.   So you make up going in the cooler months.  My record was 21 months in a row.  Could not have dont it would out my Darien.  Thank you Dream Hammock for getting me back out "Feet into the Wild!"
